If students are having problems signing up for the list serve, it is most likely due to misspelling a command: e.g., leaving out the "b" in subscribe, or adding a hyphen to the course name between Pol and 108. Students who continue to have problems after checking for these errors should forward to Tamara Kronis the command that they sent to the listserv and the error message they received in response, with headers turned on. Then, Tamara can send you a message explaining the error and how to fix it. Tamara's email is t_kronis@yahoo.com.

On Wednesday, October 20 class will consist of a tour of Wilson Library that will help you with the research for your second paper assignment. Students with a last name from A-L will meet in Room S30 in the Subbasement of Wilson Library at 10:10 sharp. This is the Electronic Training and Instruction Facility, and it is a bit tricky to find so please allow yourself a few extra minutes to find the room. Students with last names from M-Z will meet at 10:00 in the Basement of Wilson Library in the open area in front of the Copy Service.
